GALA DINNER 2018 Saturday 21st April
Another enjoyable and excellent evening with a record number of tickets sold, the 70th ticket sold the day before the dinner! The theme of the evening was All Things Lincolnshire embracing everything Lincolnshire from the flowers, quiz, food and entertainment by local group Harmony. Thanks to Valerie Wright for the lovely flower arrangements, Anne Crawforth for the thought provoking quiz, Harmony for their very enjoyable performance. A huge thank you to all the members of the gala committee for their hard work setting up the village hall, preparing and serving the food (the homemade puddings were delicious) and for their donations of fabulous raffle prizes. Thank you for the support from local retailers, Cote Hill Farm for the cheeses, Lancaster Butchers for the meat and Tesco for the salad. Grateful thanks to the local community for their continued support, On the night we raised more than £600 for the 2 Charites, Action for Children and Rear into Gear Appeal, thank you!
